Kerala Government Launched Intelligent Building Plan Management System at an event ‘ASCEND -2019.’

Kerala Government Launched

Intelligent Building Plan Management System [IBPMS] was launched by the Kerala government through which single point, integrated and holistic online development permissions has been offered to the candidates for Ease of Doing Business [EODB] in a specified timely manner.

On Monday, Minister for Industries and Commerce E.P. Jayaranjan launched the Intelligent Building Plan Management System [IBPMS] during an investment meet, ASCEND Kerala 2019. The goal of the system is to show the state as an important hotspot place for investment and encourages the entrepreneurs to start their business in a hassle-free way and fast.

The minister for industries and Commerce further said at ASCEND 2019 that to launch an enterprise it was very much difficult to get permission for the building and by implementing the online system will help for faster clearance.

Additional Chief Secretary T.K. Jose further mentioned the details of the system and the steps taken by the government to encourage doing business in Kerala.

During the event ASCEND Kerala 2019, the minister distributed the certificates to four Thrissur Corporation beneficiaries, Thrissur Corporation is the first domestic organization of Kerala to deploy the system.

The new system will speed up the process of clearances, and the permission will be given to the applicants within 30 days from the application date.

The significant effort of the Kerala Government for promoting entrepreneurship has been acclaimed by most of the Industries which includes organizations like FICCI, CII, and Kerala State Small Industries Association. These bodies further congratulated the government for their initiative and their effort to encourage ease of doing business and also ease of implementing business in Kerala, T. K. Jose said.

T. K. Jose also said that as of now the applicant needs to submit only two documents to get the trade license, especially in Kerala namely the Identify proof and lease deed or legal occupancy certificate.
